Journalists from 5 countries were amazed by Ufa

Last week a group of foreign journalists arrived in Ufa in order to further promote the Republic of Bashkortostan on the international market and attract foreign events to the city.
Journalists from United Kingdom, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain and India took part in the Open Russia with Three Cultures press tour. The guests represented leading international industry publications including media holdings such as Conference & Meetings World (CMW, UK), Headquarters magazine HQ Magazine (Belgium), Conference & Incentive Travel (C&IT, UK), Revija Kongres Kongres Magazine (Slovenia), Grupo eventoplus (Spain), Mice Affairs (India) and Event LIVE for professionals of event industry.

The press tour was organized by Russian Convention Bureau and took place in 3 Russian cities. It started in Moscow and continued in Kazan. Ufa was the final destination of the tour.  

The guests had a chance to visit infrastructure facilities and exhibition venues in Ufa such as VDNKH-EXPO Ufa exhibition center, Akbuzat Racecourse, Honey Museum, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and BURINTEKH high-tech oilfield services company. The journalists also had a meeting with the Chair of State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Foreign Economic Relations Ruslan Mirsayapov at the Toratau Congress Hall.

The highlight of the press tour was a beautiful performance at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater.
