Russian Convention Bureau will promote Bashkortostan in global events market

The Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Russian Convention Bureau will continue work on the previously concluded strategic cooperation agreement, which implies a promotion of our republic in the international event market and the development of the region's industrial passport, which will become a kind of reference point for attracting congresses and conferences. Arrangements were reached during the meeting of representatives from the Russian Convention Bureau with the Chairman of the Bashkortostan Republic Government Rustem Mardanov and the Head of the Administration of the Head of the Bashkortostan Republic Evgeny Mavrin.

The meeting was held during the Event Map of Russia Conference, which gathered 187 event professionals from 11 Russian cities.

"Ufa's experience is unique from the point of view of this event", says Daria Ostrovskaya, General Director of R&C Exhibition and Research Center. "Starting from 2018, the Russian Convention Bureau and the Event LIVE portal launch the EVENT MAP OF RUSSIA, a joint conference project. Organizers combine best practices: visual presentation of the regions to customers, exchanging practical knowledge and effective networking. It was Bashkortostan where the conference started, as one of the most advanced and active regions developing this industry in Russia".

Ufa ranks 8th among Russian regions in the Russian Event Potential Rating .
